4 Privacy & responses The privacy mode physically determines what a response MAY store — cannot be changed after publishing

Anonymous

No respondent reference is stored — only aggregates. No dedup. Raw-data export blocked. GDPR erasure has no effect (nothing to link).

Pseudonymous

Reference = sha256(survey id + user id). Dedup: the same user cannot respond twice. Not reversible. No demographics.

Attributed

Freezes a demographic snapshot at submission (age range, gender, region, licence type, discipline, club, role). Per-user analysis + raw-data export.

Care: An anonymous survey can never be de-anonymised afterwards — the choice is irreversible at publishing. You don't ask for more than you need, and you can prove it.
